HAHA!!! I passed ES12! *grins widely* I just saw my grade in the finals, and now I can safely put that subject out of my mind. *smiles and nods* Nothing can dampen my mood. Not even the unusual traffic that met me at the Ayala MRT station at around 5:20 pm. I just found it weird, so I decided to take the service at Landmark instead. Sure, it was probably a ten-minute walk, and my bad foot had already started aching way before that, and I spent a bit more money, but who cares? I got home earlier than expected, and at least if ever I was gonna be stuck in traffic, I would be in the company of sane and less creepy people.

Well, I'm off to sleep now. Still have to get up early tomorrow so as to make the most of what's left of my vacation. hehehe night!

ES12 Part 4

Sadly, there is gonna be a part 5 because I have to take the finals... *big frown* Serves me right for not doing well in the first exam, but ah well. C'est la vie. Finals is on Thursday. Hope we all do well!

Summer's Gone!!!

I drove to UP this morning (with my sister, of course), and a huge, continuous downpour greeted me. *frowns* It was my first time driving in the rain, and although it wasn't really hard, I easily got disoriented with all the cars around me. It was more congested than usual in EDSA, and my sister was shouting at me for not honking at the stupid bus drivers. *sweatdrop* It was cold inside the car, too. My left hand was gripping the steering wheel pretty hard, partly because I was unsure about my driving, and partly because I was freezing since the aircon was directed at me!

Anyway, nothing really happened. Still in one piece, and still no scratches on the car! I just wanted to share that driving experience, even though that's not really my point... Huh? What exactly is my point? Oh!! Just wanted to point out that summer's gone and I didn't even feel it apart from the weather! I mean, sure, it was hot and sticky and I had a hard time getting some sleep, but I was more of thinking about the fun side of summer. Yeah, there is more to summer than just summer "classes". In fact, the word "summer" should be attached to "vacation" thus the term "summer vacation"! And I didn't have any of that! I don't even get a week's rest because next week will be hell week for UP students again! Yup! Reg week... *shivers*

*starts throwing tantrums* I want my summer back! Give me my summer back!!! *big pout*

Driving in the Rain

driving... still driving... bus tries to cut in my lane.
I honk the car for a second... *beep!!!*
My sister: *in a voice much louder than my beep* What the hell was that?! Did you hope to intimidate that bus with that sound? It was like saying *mimics timid little girl's voice* "excuse me excuse me"! *rolls eyes* You have to let him know you're on the right lane!!!
... ... ...
...and I'm still driving of course. hehe

ES 12 Part 3

I passed the third exam, although I could've done much better. *frowns* It was an easy exam, and it was everyone's chance to pull their grade up... and I botched it. Oh well, at least my standing is still passing. That's all I'm really aiming for anyway.

Fourth exam's coming up this Saturday, and the Finals is on Tuesday. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't be as stupid as I've been in the third one. *crosses fingers*

As for running, we're gonna have our final run on Friday. Hopefully, the route would just be level with no uphills and downhills or anything. Already managed to make it under 30 mins just this Monday, so I'm hoping for a repeat performance on Friday. *smiles and nods*

Tagaytay or Laguna?

Or should I just stay and watch a movie on Saturday? My family (mother side) is going to Tagaytay this weekend, while my friends are going to Laguna for some swimming. Obviously, I would much rather go with my friends, not because I have some issues with my family, mind you. It's just that I've already gone to Fontana with the whole clan 2 weeks ago, and it's not like we don't see each other often. Everytime someone has a birthday, we get together, so I can't really say that I miss spending time with them. Besides, all we ever talk about when we get together is school, and that's got to be the last thing I would want to talk about now. And honestly speaking, I think I would enjoy the weekend with my friends more. This swimming thing was long overdue anyway.

So, that being said, the only problem now is getting my parents' permission... As Albert said, I'm entangled in my own web of lies and deceptions! Serves me right for using Saturday's exam and next week's Finals as an excuse not to go to Tagaytay. Now I'll have to come out and say it... I would prefer to spend the weekend with my friends! Aaahh!! That makes me sound like an angsty teenager! I do hope they know me better than that. Wish me luck.

hmm... I can't seem to think of anything to blog lately, aside from the fact that I'm still taking summer classes. I dunno, just wanted to post here I guess. *sighs*

I'm getting the hang of driving, and I'm not illegal anymore! *grins* My temporary license expired months ago, so I went to the LTO yesterday to claim my card... turns out they didn't have it yet. They did extend my tempo until September, so I'll probably come back for it around... oh... sem break? hehehe

Man, I really can't think of anything to say! Maybe it's because I'm enjoying CWSS too much.

Vroom-vroooom

Let's see... I could talk about cars I guess... Oooh!!! That reminds me! It's race weekend this weekend! Yeah, I think I already mentioned that on DNF, but who cares? Still looking forward to it! My sister had tickets to the AF3 event in Subic last Sat and Sun (when we were in Fontana). It was supposed to be convenient for us because driving from Clark to Subic is much shorter than from ParaƱaque to Subic, but when the weekend came, we got kinda lazy. We just spent the morning with the family (before going to Clark) looking at cars. I don't know where they got the idea, but they suddenly wanted to buy a big one for the family. It was a toss up between a RAV4 and a CRV and a Crosswind and a Ford Escape (which is my personal fave). The whole trip we were discussing the merits of each car, and what color it should be, and how we (my siblings and I) thought that we really didn't need another one!

You see, a couple of weeks ago, my mom approached us and told us that we were a bit tight on the budget so we had to cut down on the expenses and stuff. On the same week, they bought an air conditioning unit for my room (also my sister's, by the way). The following week, they announced that my dad wanted to buy a new car. Rrrriiiiighhhtt... how weird is that?! Oh well, it's their decision. But since they're asking our opinion, I just couldn't help campaigning for a Ford!!! *coughfordcough* My dad's set on buying a CRV though. Ah... another Honda. Oh well, it's not like I'll be driving anything as big as that anyway. I would refuse to in an instant!

Besides, I'd rather be a passenger. *coughfordcough*

ES12 Part 2

I had my second exam in ES12 this morning... I think I did better this time. I just hope it's enough to pull my grade back up to 60.

I went to Fontana last Sat and Sun, and I spent most of the time, you guessed right, studying for this morning's exam. I missed the chance to go swimming while it was raining hard... *frowns* but I wouldn't have enjoyed it anyway because my unfinished probset would've kept nagging me at the back of my head. I did go for a dip on Sun morning, but it was only for an hour, and I did it so that no one would say I was a complete and total freak. I don't know if all my studying paid off though. I only managed to answer 2 of the problems in the probset, and that, I think, is not good. *sigh* oh well...

Fontana

I had fun despite not being able to take advantage of the water park. It closes at 6pm, so my cousins were back by that time and intruding in my private space. I had already claimed the corner of the room as my study area, because it had a table and a comfy chair, and a mirror in front for inspiration! Hahaha! Just kidding. After dinner, we spent the rest of the night playing Mafia. *grins* One of my favorite ways to pass the time, because sometimes cards just aren't enough. I didn't know that Mafia could be so tiring! By our last game, we were all tired and beat, and it took a while before the killer decided to kill me. Ah... I think I've just made myself a memory... *smiles*

The next day, I got up early. I was supposed to go back to sleep when I found out it was only 6 am, but with all the heavy snoring going around, I just couldn't! My sister and I decided to go for a walk outside around 7 am, and on our way back, a red car slowed down just as it was passing us. The windows were rolled down, and one of the guys greeted us a "good morning" before speeding off. *grins* Ah... We could've said, "Good morning to you, too!" or "Wanna take us back to our cottage?" or "We're gonna go swimming later!" Instead we just watched them speed away... We even looked around to see if there were any other people in the vicinity, but it was just us I guess... Damn!!! They were cute, too! All right, note to self: cute guys in cars don't come around everyday, so when they do, take advantage!!! Hmmm... Maybe I should have gone swimming on Sat!!!

ES12 Part 1

I had my first exam in ES12 this morning... *sweatdrop* Verdict: Not Good.

No excuses. I really deserve a smack on the head because I didn't study hard enough. I mean, sure, I did do my problem set. A bit. And I did study the sample exams. A bit... But you really can't blame me because it was race weekend and I had to support my team and my drivers and you can't expect me to concentrate on problems like what should the initial velocity of car A taking path 1 be for it to overtake car B in path 2 if I can see these problems being done before me on TV!!! LIVE!!!

But I have no excuses. I was plain lazy, so I guess I shouldn't expect any grade higher than what I deserve: A bit. *sweatdrop*

Driving

I drove all the way from my house in ParaƱaque to UPD today! I'm so proud of myself! *wipes tear* Actually, it's a task long overdue. I was supposed to be driving to UP way back in the first sem, but what can I say? With 3 older siblings who already know how to drive, there really is no rush to learn, you know. Plus, the idea of arguing with them just to decide who gets to take the car is certainly not appealing.

Driving is overrated, in my opinion. Other people are always so eager to drive when they're just starting out, but later on, they find out that it gets tedious and tiring sometimes. As for me, I thought driving was a tiring thing to do ever since my first driving lesson. I mean with all the work your legs have to do and your right hand with the gears and all those mirrors and all those other cars... I don't know... That just doesn't sound like much fun. It does have its advantages like being able to go wherever on your own or something, but it's really nothing like, "woohoo! driving is so great!" Besides, I still think that commuting is more flexible, not to mention, cheaper. And that, my friends, is the key word. Cheap. If the gas you consume for some distance costs as much as my commuting fare, then there's no problem. However, do keep in mind that at least when you take public transpo, it's like having a driver of your own.

Then again, with your own car, certain ah... "bus incidents" can be avoided. Hmmm... I think driving has just jumped up a notch in my estimation. Hehehe

Anyway!!! I am completely babbling here! I do not know what I'm talking about!!! Drive if you want to! Live long and prosper! You all have my blessing. Dogs rule. Williams kicks ass. ES12 sucks. Shit happens. Glory lasts forever.

...I am thinking about buying a yacht though. *grins*

Stuff

As promised (if I passed my 2nd sem subjects), I had my hair relaxed yesterday. It's nice for now, but I'll give it a couple of days before it completely wears off. Hehehe =)

Not much going on... In my life at least.

Shit does happen. I mean you step on some dung and you either scrape it off and really dig in to get the shit out, or you just walk it off and hope you wear it out in time. Honestly, I really don't know which is preferable.

Joe Millionaire is probably the stupidest reality TV show ever! No wait... Maybe it comes second to Temptation Island, but then again, that show is the pits. I mean, honestly, whatever possesses these people to join is beyond me. *rolls eyes*

I'm feeling very irritated right now. I'm not sure why... Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's F1. Or maybe I'm just annoyed at myself. I've been trying to get into the mood of studying, but not being able to solve certain problems can be very frustrating. I managed to solve a couple, but there's this one problem that I can't seem to get and I've been working on it for most of the evening and I still haven't made any progress. I have a very bad feeling about ES12.
